Ways We Help

Different structures require different forms of support.

We are not defined by a splint, by orthodontics, or by any single procedure. These are tools.

Treatment is selected based on your evaluation — which structures are under the greatest strain, and which need support. Some patients benefit from one form of care; others from a thoughtful combination.

Two approaches are central to how we restore function:

Supporting Forms of Care

When appropriate, these may become part of an individualized treatment plan.

Cranial Osteopathic Manual Treatment

Gentle, hands-on treatment designed to reduce unnecessary strain and improve healthy movement throughout the head and neck. When appropriate, treatment may also include electrical muscle stimulation (TENS) and trigger point injections.

TMJ Orthotic Therapy

Custom jaw-support appliances designed according to each patient's diagnosis to reduce unnecessary joint loading, support comfortable jaw function, and protect the teeth from excessive wear.

Oral Appliance Therapy for Sleep Apnea

Non-surgical treatment for appropriate patients with sleep-disordered breathing using a custom oral appliance designed to support a healthier airway during sleep.

Orthodontic Stabilization

When indicated, orthodontic treatment helps the teeth support the jaw position that functions most comfortably after the initial phase of care.

Collaborative Care

Some patients benefit from additional care beyond our office. When appropriate, we work closely with trusted local specialists — myofunctional therapists, ENT surgeons, oral & maxillofacial surgeons, orthodontists, restorative dentists, sleep physicians, physical therapists, chiropractors, and imaging centers — to provide coordinated, comprehensive care.

Not every patient requires the same therapies. Every recommendation is based on your examination and individual needs.
