Why Belmont Patients Choose an Oral Medicine Specialist
Because we are so close, Belmont patients often choose us for the follow-up that conservative TMJ and airway care involves — appliance adjustments, manual treatment sessions, and progress checks are easier to keep when the office is minutes away.
Conservative care, done well, takes attention over time. Proximity makes that practical.

Questions from Belmont Patients
How far is your office from Belmont?
About two miles. Our office is on San Carlos Avenue near Alameda de las Pulgas, 5–10 minutes from most of Belmont (ZIP code 94002).
What conditions do you evaluate?
Headaches and migraines, TMJ disorders and jaw pain, facial pain, neck pain, ear pain and fullness, teeth grinding and clenching, worn teeth, obstructive sleep apnea and snoring, tongue tie, and the after-effects of whiplash or jaw trauma.
Do you offer an alternative to CPAP?
For appropriate patients with obstructive sleep apnea, we provide custom oral appliance therapy — a non-surgical alternative to CPAP. A sleep study is needed for diagnosis; if you already have one, bring the report to your visit.
Do I need a referral?
No referral is necessary for most patients. If your dentist, physician, ENT, neurologist, or physical therapist has records or imaging, we are glad to review them, and we send a consultation report back after your evaluation.
