TMJ, Headache & Sleep Apnea Care for San Jose

North on US-101 or I-280 from Silicon Valley.

From San Jose and the South Bay, our San Carlos office is about 27 miles north — a reverse commute for many, and a manageable drive for a specialist you may not find closer to home. We evaluate TMJ disorders, jaw pain, headaches, facial pain, ear symptoms, teeth grinding, and sleep apnea for patients from throughout Santa Clara County.

Our South Bay patients come from across San Jose and from Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Cupertino, Campbell, Los Gatos, Saratoga, Milpitas, Mountain View, and Los Altos.

Why San Jose Patients Choose an Oral Medicine Specialist

South Bay patients often arrive with a history of prior treatments — night guards, physical therapy, medications, sometimes injections — that helped for a while. When relief does not last, the missing piece is frequently an understanding of why the jaw, head, and neck are working so hard. Our evaluation looks for that primary source of strain, and treatment is selected from your findings rather than from a fixed protocol.

What We Evaluate

Treatment, when appropriate, is conservative and individualized. The ways we help include Head & Neck Decompression™, Jaw Support Therapy™, TMJ orthotic therapy, and oral appliance therapy for sleep apnea — selected from your findings, never a routine protocol.
